Lady Blue Band

For the best in blues, blues rock, and blues rock originals

This 5 piece band came together because of their love of playing music and their desire to share that love with anyone interested in "drop your socks, shake your butt" live shows. Originals are easily caught up and remembered toe-tapping melodies and covers include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Aretha Franklin, Delbert McClinton, Bonnie Raitt, BB King,  and many more. Each member is focused, professional, and performs with passion, energy, and emotion at every show and for every audience.

The lead singer and guitar player have been together for over 30 years, performing at the Charleston Stern Wheel Regatta and recorded their first indie rock album at that time. After moving to New Jersey, they had the privilege of opening for such great blues artists as Johnny Clyde Copeland, Debbie Davies, Eddie C Campbell, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Tracey Nelson at the Six Flags "Blues, Brews, & Barbecues for two consecutive years, as well as many PA & NJ music festivals and finally were honored to open for BB King and Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the PNC Arts Center in NJ.

The harmonica/keyboard/guitar player has been playing all over West Virginia for years and was influenced by British bands from the 60's doing covers of American blues artists.

The bass player co-founded The Esquires, a soul band still performing today. He also co-founded Mind Garage, a progressive rock band that toured extensively and recorded two albums for RCA.

The drummer was asked in high school to switch from trombone to his instrument because of a shortage of drummers and over the years has honed his skills in many diverse styles. He came together with the rest of this band and the provides the driving force behind the funk and dynamics of this rockin' blues band.
