The Lady Blue Band came together out of their desire to keep blues, blues rock and classic rock genres alive and well in the WV/OH/VA areas and to share that desire with anyone interested in boogie till you drop tunes or slow melt your heart blues. Their captivating stage presence appeals to just about anyone and their originals reflect down to earth, easy to relate to lyrics with gutsy vocals and a tight dynamic band - a powerful combination at their live performances.
Each individual in this band is a seasoned professional, focused, and energetic and it's evident in their stage presence and musicianship, They keep the audience entertained no matter how large or small the crowd!
The lead singer and guitar player have been making music for over 35 years and have had the pleasure of opening for Johnny Clyde Copeland, Debbie Davies, Eddie C. Campbell, Tracy Nelson, Jay Geils, Peter Green & The Splinter Group, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and finally Kenny Wayne Shepherd and BB King.
The bass player has years of experience, is a great vocalist, and plays, guitar, mandolin and more when not performing with the band.
The drummer was a member of the Red Star Rockets who opened for Gary Puckett and The Pointer Sisters.
